Abstract: The review examines the newly established journal devoted to the linguistic study of proper names, Onomastic Bulletin. The contents of its first four issues, published in 2025, are discussed. These issues reveal the emerging structure and editorial logic of the journal. The initial issues feature the following sections: “Theoretical and Methodological Problems of Onomastics”, “Regional Onomastic Studies”, “Name in the Literary Text Space” (in the final issue of 2025, the title of this section is broadened thematically, with the qualification of the text type removed), “Pragmatic Aspects of Name Creation”, and “Onym Periphery”. The final issue of 2025 introduces a special section, “Jubilee Writers of 2025”, along with two additional sections that appear intended to become permanent features: “Onomastics in Faces” and “Events and Reviews”. Thus, the journal has developed a coherent and logical structure while retaining a degree of flexibility. The review also notes that the journal, which in its first three issues presented materials from the 1st All-Russian Conference Voronezh Onomastic Readings, subsequently achieved a distinct degree of editorial independence. A particular feature of the journal is its attention to literary onomastics, which can largely be attributed to the research interests of its Editor-in-Chief, DrHab. Svetlana A. Skuridina. The review briefly examines all the articles published in the 2025 issues and concludes with a positive assessment of the journal’s prospects for further development.
